MSE Prelude with Naomi Durston

MSE Prelude is a junior group comprised of players approx 8-12 years of age.

MSE Prelude provides a warm and nurturing environment for our youngest members and focuses on developing their ensemble and performance skills. Students develop a love of orchestral playing as they rehearse and perform an eclectic range of repertoire.

The expected entry standard is as follows;

  • Violin: AMEB grade 3 plus
  • Cello/viola: AMEB grade 2 plus

Rehearsals are scheduled on Saturdays during school terms in Kew

  • MSE Prelude rehearse from 1pm-3pm

JMSE Fees

MSE is a not for profit organization that is run via a committee of management. Fees include our rehearsal and concert programme, participation various masterclasses, an intensive workshop day and membership to the association.
