Concerto Concert 2026
MSE's annual Concerto Concert showcases our most accomplished young soloists performing concerto movements alongside the flagship ensemble, under the direction of Artistic Director Fintan Murphy. The program will also feature performances from MSE Prelude, Arietta, Intermezzo and Chamber. Soloists and full program details to be announced.
MSE 40th Anniversary Concert 2026
Melbourne String Ensemble celebrates forty years of music-making with a landmark concert at Elizabeth Murdoch Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre. All five ensembles - Arietta, Prelude, Intermezzo, Chamber, and MSE - along with MSE Alumni are joined by internationally acclaimed soloists and MSE alumni Dindin Wang and Dandan Wang, graduates of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. The programme spans works by Mendelssohn, Chausson, Sarasate, Grieg, Vine, Donahoe, Balmages, and Pilsner. A night forty years in the making
