The Melbourne String Ensemble welcomes our friends from Junges Kammerorchester Stuttgart (JuKO) to Melbourne this winter. Over the course of their visit, musicians from both ensembles come together to rehearse, share ideas, and build the kind of friendship that only music can create across borders and languages. Their visit culminates in a spectacular joint performance, featuring combined ensemble works alongside pieces performed by each orchestra in its own right - a fitting celebration of the enduring partnership between MSE and JuKO.

MSE's own Arietta, Prelude, Intermezzo & Chamber ensembles come together to perform Rohan Mack's Intrada & Allegro, conducted by Mack himself - a showcase of the talent within our own ranks alongside the excitement of our guests' visit.
