2024 Tour - Germany

The Melbourne String Ensemble is excited to be touring internationally for the first time since the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the Easter school holidays (March-April), MSE's flagship ensemble will spend three weeks in Germany and Czechia, performing in several major cities starting in Berlin and ending in Stuttgart. MSE will collaborate and perform with the Stuttgart Youth Chamber Orchestra, the Leipzig Youth Symphony Orchestra, and with the orchestra of the School of Music and Art in Liberec.

MSE will also perform at the Australian Embassy in Berlin, participate in masterclasses with leading teachers and experience plenty of sightseeing along the way.
MSE is excited to be showcasing an Australian program, including new works commissioned as part of the Seasons Project. We're looking forward to performing in many wonderful venues including Mozart Saal in the Liederhalle, the new Leipzig arts space Kunstkraftwerk, and the Parliament in Prague.
